quick update
I got the bracket I needed for my carburetor. I will be putting it on tomorrow. Hopefully it works.
The Burb gets an upgrade
For my 21st birthday I received an awesome present; $500 to fix up the Burb. For those of you who don’t know the Burb is my truck. It is a 1986 Chevy suburban that I have had since I was 15. Anyway… So I got the stuff to fix up my truck some. Oil filter/ fluid, transmission filter/fluid, air filter, spark plugs/wires, and a new carburetor. For the last week I have been trying to make this new carb work. Now I am going from an Edelbrock Quadrajet to an Edelbrock 1406. Great, but I also happen to have a 700r4 transmission, not so great. Well after getting everything else ready to finish up I learned today that I need a special bracket for my new carb to be compatible with the hookup for my transmission. This bracket cost about $50 and my remaining sum of the original $500 is $4.37. WHY? On the other hand once I get this all done i should get about 15 mpg compared to the 10 mpg I was getting before hand. If anyone wants to make a donation I would love you forever.LOL.

well. this is a crucial point in my life so i thought i would experiment with a blog.
today my transmission went out on my 1986 chevy suburban.aka. “the Burb”. about an hour after i purchased my friends $300 netbook, and of all time it happened on my way to work. which by the way i am a security guard.i love my life. although i have to say this is a very nice netbook.
